It's around 12 weeks until the kick off of the 2010 ECAFL Pre-Season Cup and already their is a buzz of anticipation around the league. So far 5 teams have committed to the Men's Cup, The Saints, Bombers, Pointe Claire Power, Montreal Shamrocks and Ottawa Swans will all go head to head while rumours suggest there may even be a sixth team in the mix. This year will see the first women's ECAFL Cup with the Angels and Shamrocks womens squads confirmed and the possibilty of the Central Blues womens squad has also been thrown around.
The Saints and Bombers will have a very different look to their line-ups this year as both teams look to the Pre-Season draft to firm up team lists. New club the Pointe Claire Power is also on the recruitment trail, inside sources suggesting they may trade away their number one draft pick in order to secure the services of Irish sensation Ronan Shaughnessy.
