Breaking News: Aussie Rules in Montreal no longer a two horse race?

Rumours and speculation are mounting that a third ECAFL team has applied, and been granted entry into the Eastern Canada Australian Football League. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the new 'Pointe Claire Power' team may already have their first signing in none other than West Island resident and All-Star forward Anthony 'Choco' Williams. It is also believed that other players have been approached to join the breakaway club. When questioned - West Island resident and Saints star PJ Devine's management declared that he had a no trade clause and would be staying put with current league leaders Montreal. Some big questions remain however, if the Power are coming when exactly will they make their debut? And more importantly, who will be lining up for the new club? An inside source believes that the Power could be ready by as early as round 2, and that they will receive picks 1,2,3 of new players aswell as access to free agent Bomber and Saints players. Stay tuned for more updates
