Saints clip Eagles wings in Toronto thriller

The Quebec Saints recovered from a sluggish start to overrun the Eagles in Toronto by 5 points. Trailing all day, the Saints snatched the lead in the closing minutes of the last quarter after a goal from Nick Switzer. The Eagles responded soon after with a major of their own, hitting the front by 2 points. Inside the last few minutes star debutant Margo Legault narrowly missed a shot for goal narrowing the margin to 1 point. Shortly after Margo made amends kicking the winning goal for the Saints. The game not over yet, two Eagles broke free from the centre running into an open goal with less than 20 seconds on the clock - only to be run down by the determined Saints, the ball less than 20 metres from the Eagles goal as the siren sounded.
Saints 9.7 (61) defeated Eagles 9.2 (56)
Goals: Didgits 3, Margo 2, Bulldog 2, Nick Switzer 1, Luke Anderson 1.
