SMOOTH SAINTS CLIP HAWKS WINGS

The Quebec Saints kept their cool in Toronto and made in five wins in a row recovering from a sluggish first quarter to finally defeat the Broadview Hawks by 57 points. The Saints got off to a flying start but the experienced Hawks side kept pace trailing by only 3 points at quarter time. After an incident that saw a Hawks player yellow carded the Saints through Cam Stark, Mat Wilson and Tim Nixon made Broadview pay dearly on the scoreboard. The Quebec team slamming on 4 goals to zero in the second, the Hawks losing another player to a yellow card before the half was out. Seven goals to three after half time saw the Saints home comfortably. Mat Wilson outstanding up forward with four goals while Tim Nixon put on a clinic along half forward finishing with two goals himself.
