The Quebec Saints rolled into Ottawa to take on the bottom of the table Roos, a win ensuring first place outright for the regular season. After recruiting some extra's for the Roos the Saints also requested the team use 'alternate' jumpers to avoid a clash of colours. Fitted out in retro jerseys the Roos and Saints battle got underway. The Saints dominating play for the entire game and enjoying 8 different goal scorers eventually ran out 67 point victors, 10.9 (69) to the Roos 0.2 (2).
